On September 22, the celebration of the Olympic Day for 2019 took place in Cyprus. On that occasion, the Olympic House turned into an Olympic Park and offered Cypriots and visitors the opportunity to learn about the various Olympic and Paralympic disciplines.
During the day, visitors are invited to watch various demonstrations, attend friendly matches and to participate in many sport games.
More than 15 sports and games have been presented to the public: Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Tennis, Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Karate, Wrestling, Modern Pentathlon, Taekwondo, Bowling, Bridge, Chess, Dance.
The main event of the program was the public race. Children and adults participated in the 1 km and 5 km races respectively, around the Olympic House.
