The Hellenic Red Cross is going to support the organization of the Mediterranean Beach Games, which will be held in Patras from August 25^th to August 31^st.

The President of the Hellenic Red Cross Antonios Avgerinos visited the Organizing Committee’s premises and met the President of “Patras 2019″, Dr. Nikolaoς Papadimatoς, the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Elias Dalainas and the Organizing Committee member Mr. Andreas Mazarakis.

The two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation regarding medical and lifesaving matters during the II Mediterranean Beach Games.

The Hellenic Red Cross will provide 65 volunteers Samaritans/ Rescuers and 25 Lifeguards. Also it will supply the Organizing Committee with disposable pharmaceutical and medical equipment, a lifeboat and a caravan which will operate as a clinic.
