Mr. Mehrez Boussayene, President of the National Olympic Committee of Tunisia and Mr. Mabrouk Cosomtini, Mayor of the city of Sfax, submitted, July 30^th, 2014, to the ICMG Secretary General, Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, at the headquarters of the ICMG in Athens, the candidature file of the city of Sfaxfor the organization of the Mediterranean Games of 2021.

Mr. Boussayene and Mr. Cosomtini were accompanied by their deputies as well as by Mr. Mohamed Frikha, CEO of the “Syphax Airlines,” Mr. LotfiAbdennader, businessman of the city of Sfax, two great artists of the city ofSfax, H.E. Mr. Tarek Saadi, Tunisian Ambassador in Athens, Ms. MounaMaaloul, First Secretary of the Embassy of Tunisia in Athens, Mr. MohamedBachar, Director of the Tunisian National Tourism Board and 6 journalists representing the Tunisian National Television and Radio of Sfax.
