The first ICMG Olympia Seminar that was organized in Ancient Olympia (Greece), the birthplace of the Olympic Games, from 2-5 October 2013, in collaboration with the International Olympic Academy was a great success. 33 athletes from 18 Mediterranean NOCs (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Monaco, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia and Turkiye) participated in the Seminar and had the opportunity to study the history and values of Olympism, discuss their experience during the Games and express their opinion on the future of the Mediterranean Games.
The ICMG President, Mr. Amar Addadi was the keynote speaker and gave a very interesting lecture on the history of the Mediterranean Games and their perspectives.
