The International Committee of Mediterranean Games will enter a new era from Thursday 14 October. The election of the new Executive Committee for the period 2021 – 2025 will take place with the current President Amar Addadi not being a candidate, after 18 years in the presidency of the ICMG.

For the post of President:

For the post of 1st Vice-President:

For the post of 2nd Vice-President:
- Bernard AMSALEM (NOC France)
For the post of Secretary General:
- Iakovos FILIPPOUSIS (NOC Greece)
For the post of Treasurer:
- Yiotis IOANNIDES (NOC Cyprus)
For the post of the seven (7) Members (in alphabetical order of NOCs in French):
- Abderrahmane HAMMAD (NOC Algeria)
- Ljiljana UJLAKI SUBIC (NOC Croatia)
- Cayetano CORNET (NOC Spain)
- General Souhail KHOURY (NOC Lebanon)
- Mohamed GREMIDA (NOC Libya)
- Abdellatif IDMAHAMMA (NOC Morocco)
- Blaz PERKO (NOC Slovenia)
- Elif OZDEMIR (NOC Turkiye)
In addition to the election of the members of the Executive Committee, there will be a vote for the city that will host the Mediterranean Beach Games for 2023 with the city of Heraklion, Crete being the only candidate city.
An activity report will be presented by Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis, as well as a financial report its going to be presented.
There will also be a presentation on the progress of the preparations of the cities that will host the next Mediterranean Games, Oran in 2022 and Taranto in 2026.
Finally, the Order of Merit or the title of Honorary Member will be granted to people who have offered great services in Mediterranean sport.
