The city of Patras is entering in the final straight for the start of the Mediterranean Beach Games on August 25, 2019, since the works began in the three main sites of the Games, the South Park, the beach of Agia and the pool “A. Pepanos”.

In the South Park, in the premises of the Nautical Club of Patras (NOP), where the beach sports will take place, the fences are being built and the sand is being transported. The aim is to have the field of competition ready, to host the test event on 9th and 10th of August, during the Final Four of the beach handball Greek championship.

A few days ago the works began at the beach of Agia where the water sports will be held. Works are in progress also, in the swimming pool “A.Pepanos”, where the swimming events and the fin swimming will take place.
