The “Tennis & Friends – Health and Sport” event returned to Foro Italico and CONI was present with the Institute of Sports Medicine and Science.

Since 2011,this event promotes the culture of health prevention and raises awareness among the population on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The General Secretary of the Italian National Olympic Committee, Carlo Mornati, was present in the opening of the event, together with the Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, the Head of the Department for Sport, Flavio Siniscalchi, the President of Sport and Health Marco Mezzaroma and the creator of the event, Giorgio Meneschincheri, president of the Friends for Health non-profit organization.

Members of the “Italia Team” were also present, such us the Olympic fencing champion Daniele Garozzo and the top swimming, water polo and taekwondo athletes, Margherita Panziera, Domitilla Picozzi and Simone Alessio.
