The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) organized the election of the new members of its Athletes’ Commission on May 11, 2025, in Rabat, in accordance with the directives of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the statutory and regulatory provisions of the CNOM.

The CNOM Athletes’ Commission, newly elected for a renewable four-year term, is composed of five members, including three women, and is chaired by the double Olympic and world champion in the 3,000 m steeplechase, Soufiane El Bakkali:

  • President: Soufiane EL BAKKALI (athletics)

  • Member of the CNOM Executive Committee: Noor SLAOUI (equestrian)

  • Members of the CNOM General Assembly: Ibtissam MARIRHI (shooting) and Bilal MALLAKH (breakdancing)

  • Member: Safia SALIH (taekwondo)

This process aims to ensure the active representation of Moroccan athletes within the governing bodies of the national Olympic movement.

This new team succeeds the first commission, established in November 2018, marking a new step in strengthening the voice of athletes.
