The International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG) proudly unveiled its new visual identity at the headquarters in the Athens Olympic Stadium.

Featuring an illustrated giant map, it showcases the 26 National Olympic Committees constituting the ICMG Family.

This initiative aims to honor and promote the unique coexistence of 26 countries and 620 million citizens in 3 continents as well as their unity in all diversities, that define the Principles and Values of the 73-year-old Mediterranean Games prestigious organisations and history.

The map, prominently displayed, serves also as a testament to the collective spirit of cooperation and sportsmanship, shared among ICMG members, highlighting the cultural and athletic ties that bind the Mediterranean region. It moreover reflects the passion and the ongoing commitment of the ICMG NOC-members in fostering regional solidarity through Sport.

“This new concept is more than a geographic capturing, it is a visual embodiment of the unity, collaboration, and shared values that drive the Mediterranean Games. We hope it will inspire our Members, our Athletes, the visitors, and the public to appreciate the unique contributions each member country brings to our unique community,” said the ICMG Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis during the presentation of the new visual identity to the members of the ICMG Executive Committee.
