The President of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG), Davide Tizzano, was triumphantly elected President of the Italian Rowing Federation in the elections held on Sunday in the city of Pisa.
Mr. Tizzano, a gold medalist in rowing at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, secured 53% of the votes and will assume the role of President of the Italian Rowing Federation for the first time.
His election as President is an honor for the International Committee of Mediterranean Games, and all members of the Mediterranean sports family wish him success in his new duties.
