It is with deep sorrow that the International Committee of Mediterranean Games has learnt the death of Nasser Al Saied, Secretary General of the Syrian Olympic Committee at the age of 54.

Τhe ICMG President Mr. Davide Tizzano and the Secretary General Mr. Iakovos Filippousis sent the following letter of condolence to the Syrian Olympic Committee:

“It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we have learnt about the passing of Nasser ALSAIED, Secretary General of the Syrian Olympic Committee.

On behalf of all the Members of the Mediterranean Family, please accept our sincere condolences and convey our deepest sympathy to his family and colleagues.”
