The Οpening Ceremony of the Mediterranean Beach Games, will take place on Sunday, August 25th at 20.30 in the main arena of the Artemis venue, next to the aquatic centre of NOP (Nautical Club of Patras).

The opening ceremony will be attended by athletes and members of the 26 Mediterranean countries’ delegations promoting the message of peace, friendship and Fair Play.

The production team, which has been working for months for this day, will bring a unique trip to the Mediterranean, live on stage. From Spain to the Balkans and from North Africa to Greece and Patras. Music, movement, dance, theater and state-of-the-art technology accompany the journey to the Mediterranean Sea. The main elements of the Ceremony are water and sand, on which the Games that will take place in Patras are supported. More than 35 artists (singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats) will be on stage, and the participation of volunteers will be significant.
