In a two-day event aimed at athletes and representatives of the Slovenian sports federations, the Slovenian Olympic Committee (OKS) celebrated the 33 years of its establishment.

On the first day, the participants were welcomed by the President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia Franjo Bobinac and the state secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, Dejan Židan.

After the welcoming speeches, five round tables were organized on the most important issues of Slovenian sports.

Τhe second day, the Slovenian Olympic Committee celebrated its birthday with the presentation of the awards to sport personalities of Slovenia and with an entertainment program.

This year’s event was special, because three decades ago OKS and the Association of Sports Federations merged into a single organization with a common goal and mission – the development of sports in all forms in the Republic of Slovenia.
