Launched in 2022 by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), the “Club of 300” Women Leaders recently concluded its second class at the “Maison du Sport Français”. After achieving its objective of supporting 300 women by equipping them with the tools and methods necessary to take on leadership roles within national sports organizations, the program is set to expand to the local level.

With the year 2024 marked by elections within the federations, the CNOSF is actively promoting greater diversity in the governance of sports, in line with the law of March 2, 2022, which mandates gender parity within federal authorities. The creation of the “Club of 300” Women Leaders,  stems from the findings of a 2021 CNOSF survey, which revealed a shortfall of 300 women needed to achieve parity within the national governing bodies of the sports federations.
