The President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Milatovic, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports and Youth, Mr. Dragoslav Šćekić, had a meeting with the Montenegrin Olympic Committee delegation led by the President Mr. Dušan Simonović and the representatives of eight national sports federations.
During the meeting at the residence in Cetinje, the President of Montenegro congratulated those who have already qualified to the Paris 2024 Olympics and expressed his wish that the Montenegrin delegation to Paris would consist of many male and female athletes.
They all agreed that it is necessary to develop existing infrastructure for elite sports and build new sports facilities in the country.
The President of Montenegro praised the idea of building an Olympic House, Olympic Museum, and Olympic Park in Podgorica, emphasizing that all the stakeholders of the state should recognize the benefits of these projects.
The Montenegrin Olympic Committee delegation consisted by Vice President Ms. Bojana Popović, Secretary General Mr. Igor Vušurović, Deputy Secretary General Ms. Maja Peković and Sports Director Ms. Katarina Bulatović.
