The installation of the lighting network at the 40,000 – seat stadium in the Oran Olympic complex, which is under construction, it’s coming to the end.

The first tests were carried out, both in the stands and in the exterior parts of the stadium, ensuring that the operation will be completed soon.

Despite the health crisis shaking the country caused by the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic (covid-19), the construction of the Olympic complex and the Mediterranean village in the town of Bir El Djir (East of Oran) continue, noted the Wali Abdelkader Djellaoui during his inspection visit.

The postponement of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games, originally planned for the summer of 2021, for one more year, had no impact on the progress of the work.
