Fidel Ylli has been re-elected as President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee at the General Electoral Assembly held in Tirana on April 23, 2025.

The 31st Assembly began with a video summarizing the four years of work carried out by the Albanian National Olympic Committee, highlighting the sporting achievements across all sports federations, the meetings and sports diplomacy undertaken institutionally by NOC Albania and President Ylli, a summary of the main projects of NOC Albania, the efforts to promote mass participation in sports throughout the country, and the historic Olympic medals won at the Paris Games, the first in the history of Albanian sports.

During the General Assembly, several notable figures in sports were honored with the Olympic Orders. These included Theodhori Driza from Vlora for his contributions to volleyball, Emin Lishi, a champion in swimming, water polo, boxing, and billiards, Krenar Luto, the Grand Master and champion wrestler from Vlora, Mustafa Fagu, a former footballer and coach of Partizan, and Sytki Tafili, the distinguished cyclist from Vllaznia.

Following the agenda, a vote was held for the President of NOC Albania. President Fidel Ylli received 61 out of 64 votes from eligible members, thus being re-elected for a second term as President of NOC Albania.
