The course was held in Ragusa from 7^th to 11^th October. There were 16 participants from 10 countries: Albania, Algeria, Lebanon, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Syria, Tunisia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain. The course consisted of two phases: a technical-practical phase at the Fencing Hall of Modica and the phase of theory and tactics at the School of Sport, under the guidance of the highest level Italian coaches as teaching staff: Mr. Giovanni Sirovich, Head Coach of the Sabre Italian Team, Mr. Sandro Cuomo, Head Coach of the Sabre Italian Team and Mr. Andrea Borella, member of the staff Foil National Team. The President of the Regional Committee of the Italian NOC, the President of the Mediterranean Fencing Confederation, the President of the Italian Fencing Federation and representatives of the local authorities attended the closing ceremony.
