The Mayor of Patras Konstantinos Peletidis received from the Secretary General of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games Iakovos Filippousis, the official invitation of the 2nd Mediterranean Beach Games that will be held in Patras from the 25th until the 31st of August.

According to the Mayor’s comment made to Mr Filippousis, Patras is getting ready with a wide range of works for the face-lifting, cleanliness and smartening up of the city in order to welcome the athletes, the coaches and the visitors.

The municipality of Patras is working with great enthusiasm for the Mediterranean Beach Games, in order to show to all the members of the Mediterranean family the best profile of the city of Patras, a modern and beautiful city that will organize in the best way the great celebration of sport in the Mediterranean Basin.
