The President of the International Olympic Committee, Mr. Thomas Bach, declared the opening of the 54^th International Session for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy during a modest but glorious ceremony on the sacred Hill of the Pnyx. The President of the International Olympic Academy, Mr.  Isidoros Kouvelos, honoured him for his valuable contribution to the sports movement.
