The President of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee and IOC Member, Mehrez Boussayene, welcomed the Ambassador of Spain to Tunisia, Isidro González Afonso, for a friendly meeting focused on Tunisian-Spanish friendship, sport and Olympic values as a means of bringing people closer together.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the excellent sporting and Olympic relations between the two countries, as well as new opportunities for cooperation in various fields. Football featured prominently in the discussions, particularly the growing presence in Tunisia of initiatives linked to major Spanish football institutions, including Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. New opportunities involving Valencia in Sousse were also highlighted.

The rapid growth of padel in Tunisia was another key topic.
