The President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), Mr. Fidel Ylli, welcomed the U.S. Special Envoy for Global Partnerships, Mr. Paolo Zampolli.

The visit represents an important moment for strengthening international communication and cooperation through sport.

During the meeting, Paolo Zampolli, who holds a special role in promoting global partnerships and sports within the administration of President Donald Trump, expressed his appreciation for the work, development, and achievements of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, as well as for Albania’s increasingly dignified representation on the international sports stage.

He praised the importance of sport in building new relationships between countries and expressed his readiness to explore and deepen new opportunities for cooperation and partnership with Albania, considering sport a powerful instrument of international communication.

KOKSH President Fidel Ylli described the visit as a new door of communication through sports diplomacy, emphasizing that sport is not just about competitions and results, but also one of the most powerful ways to build relationships, bring people closer together, and promote Albania around the world.

Mr. Zampolli expressed particular interest in learning more closely about the “Tirana Olympic City” project, praising it as an excellent opportunity to promote Albanian sport, create new spaces for the younger generation, and strengthen Albania’s international image through the universal power of sport.
