
The financial support of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee to the best young athletes
March 24, 2026With just 20 weeks to go until the opening of the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, the Organising Committee (OCMG), in coordination with the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG), will host the Chefs de Mission Seminar from 27 to 29 March 2026 in Taranto — a key milestone in the final phase of preparations.
This strategic meeting will bring together the Chefs de Mission of the 26 Mediterranean National Olympic Committees participating in the Games, the Technical Delegates of the International Federations for the sports on the programme, as well as the management of the Organising Committee and the ICMG Coordination Commission members and experts, led by Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis.
These working sessions will provide a comprehensive update on the progress of preparations and ensure optimal coordination among all stakeholders.
A particularly dense program will include:
– Joint meetings between the ICMG Coordination Commission and the Organising Committee Taranto2026
– Detailed thematic sessions covering all operational areas of the Games and presentations to the Chefs de Mission
– Sectoral round tables between ICMG experts, Sport’s Technical Delegates and OCMG directors
– Venue visits to key competition sites
– Bilateral meetings and Q&A sessions
The ICMG Acting President, Mehrez Boussayene stated:

ICMG Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis also underlined:

The President of the Organising Committee, Massimo Ferrarese, specified:
