
A tribute to Davide Tizzano and the strengthening of his legacy
January 21, 2026At the traditional ceremony celebrating the NOC Day, the Olympic Committee of Serbia, in the presence of many Olympians, announced the Athletes, Teams and Coach of the year with a live broadcast on the Second and Satellite channels of Radio-Television Serbia, as well as the NOC Serbia’s YouTube channel.
The title of the Most Successful Sportswoman of Serbia for 2025 was won by athlete Angelina Topić. At the World Championship at the age of 20 she won a bronze medal in a high jump. The title of the Most Successful Sportsman of Serbia for 2025 was awarded to wrestler Aleksandr Komarov. This is his first recognition as the most successful athlete in the selection of the NOC Serbia. He earned the trophy based on the gold medal won at the World Championships in Zagreb, as well as a bronze from the European Championships in Bratislava.

The title of the Most Successful Individual in Team Sports for 2025 was won by 3×3 basketball player Strahinja Stojačić. This year, together with the national team, Strahinja won the bronze medal at the World Championships held in Mongolia and he finished the year of 2025 as the 1st ranked player at FIBA 3X3 ranking.
The title of the Most Successful Men’s Team for 2025 was won by the 3×3 Basketball National Team. This year, Serbia’s basketball players continued their streak of winning medals at major international competitions, securing the bronze medal at the World Championships in Mongolia.
For the first time, the Most Successful Coach of Serbia is Vojislav Trajković, the head coach of the national wrestling team. Under his leadership, the national team members achieved exceptional results in 2025, including a world gold medal and two medals at the European Championships.
The award for the Most Successful Young Athlete – the “Bobana Momčilović Veličković” Trophy – was given to judoka Milan Bulaja. This year, the young judoka from Zrenjanin made Serbian sports history by winning the gold medals at the European Junior Championships and World Junior Championships.
A Special Recognition of the Olympic Committee of Serbia for the promotion of Serbian identity and contribution to Serbian sport in 2025 was awarded to Nikola Jokić. Nikola Jokić is one of the greatest athletes Serbia has ever had and an ambassador of Serbian sport throughout the world.
On this occasion, Special Recognitions were awarded to the former NOC Serbia President, Mr. Božidar Maljković, for his exceptional contribution, and to the former NOC Serbia Secretary General, Mr. Đorđe Višacki, for his exceptional contribution to the strategic development and positioning of the Olympic Committee of Serbia
The “Olympic Heart – General Svetomir Đukić” Trophy for 2025 was awarded to Žarko Zečević, for his lifelong contribution to the strengthening of the Olympic movement and the development of sport.
