Egypt hosted an Olympic Day Run organized by The TriFactory in cooperation with Palm Hills Sports Club and the Egyptian Athletes Committee, which was led by Olympic gold medalist Ahmed El-Gendy.

The event occurred in June 28 at Palm Hills Sports Club in New Cairo. Activities included a 5K fun run, meet & greet opportunities, photo sessions, Q&A, and interviews with Egypt’s Olympic stars—including El-Gendy himself.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Ahmed El-Gendy won gold in the men’s modern pentathlon with 1,555 points, breaking both Olympic and world records. He became the first athlete from Egypt, Africa, and the Arab world to achieve this in modern pentathlon.
