The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC) have signed a memorandum allocating over €2.6 million for this year’s operational preparations for the Mediterranean Games “Pristhina 2026”.

The agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Sports Daulina Osmani and the President of the Kosovo Olympic Committee Ismet Krasniqi.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee of Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games has been established under the leadership of President Krasniqi, with members from KOC, the Government of Kosovo, MCYS, and the Municipality of Prishtina.

This milestone follows last month’s visit of the ICMG Coordination Commission and ensures that the progress continues for the biggest sporting event in the history of Kosovo.
