The Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT) awarded the Prizes “Flambeau Olympique” to the best athletes of 2024 during a ceremony organized in the presence of numerous personalities from the national sports scene.
The taekwondo player Firas Kattoussi, and the runner Marwa Bouzayani, already crowned as best athletes of the year 2024 in the voting of TAP agency, received the “Flambeau Olympique” for sporting excellence.
Other prizes were also awarded by the CNOT to Khalil Jendoubi (taekwondo), Ahmed Jaouadi (swimming), Aymen Bacha (weightlifting) and Fares Ferjani (fencing).
As for disabled sports, the “Flambeau Olympique” was awarded to Wajdi Boukhili for the men and Marwa Brahmi for the women.
Several sports federations were also honored for their national Olympic merit, notably those of taekwondo, athletics and fencing. Sports promotion centers, executives in various sports, as well as school sports associations were also rewarded.
