The participants in the first international conference on doping, titled Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE), highlighted in Algiers the efforts made by Algeria to align its legislation with international regulations and the statutes of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Organized by the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), this first international conference on Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) was attended by the Director General of Sports, Mustapha Ali Hassani, representing the Minister of Sports, members of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee (COA), national sports federations, researchers, Algerian and foreign experts, as well as high-level Algerian athletes.

In a speech during the opening of this first-of-its-kind meeting in Algeria, the Director General of Sports emphasized the role of sports officials worldwide in promoting healthy sporting values to combat negative behaviors such as doping, which harms both the moral and physical health of athletes.
