The President of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG) Mr. Davide Tizzano and the Secretary General Mr. Iakovos Filippousis, visited the Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo, Mr. Hajrullah Çeku and the Deputy Minister, Ms Daulina Osmani.

The meeting of the ICMG Executive Committee will be held for the first time in Pristina, Kosovo, on the 10th of December 2022 and on this occasion the ICMG met with the sports leadership of Kosovo.

In the meeting were also present, the Kosovo Olympic Committee President Mr. Ismet Krasniqi and the Secretary General Mr. Besim Aliti, together with the ICMG Treasurer Mr. Yiotis Ioannides and the 2nd Vice-President Mr. Bernard Amsalem.

Minister Çeku thanked the ICMG delegation for the visit and the organization of the Executive Committee meeting, which is a big challenge for the Kosovo Olympic Committee and the Kosovo sports.

The ICMG President Davide Tizzano, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and the organization of the meeting adding that this is only the beginning of a great cooperation between the two sides.

The Kosovo Olympic Committee President thanked the Minister for the reception and the ICMG for the opportunity to organize the meeting of the Executive Committee, for the first time in Kosovo. He also stated that in the future, due to the investments in infrastructures, Kosovo together with the neighboring countries will be ready to organize the Mediterranean Games.
