Greece, the world champion in women’s beach handball, is on the top of the group tournament, of the II Mediterranean Beach Games Patras 2019 (25-31 August).

The seeding of the seven teams of the Women’s Beach Handball tournament was announced by the Technical Delegate of the International Handball Federation (IHF)  Giabbiero Masi and Greece is on the top because of the first place in the world ranking.

 Each of the seven teams will compete with the rest and the top four teams will qualify to the Final Four, for positions 1-4.

The seven teams of the Women’s Beach Handball tournament of the II Mediterranean Beach Games are according to the ranking of the International Handball Federation : Greece, Italy, Portugal, Tunisia, Cyprus, Algeria and Syria.
